NEW YORK — The makers of Excalibre cigars have released their first coffee-flavored cigar, which they say is inspired by the “magic of coffee.”
The brand, which is a subsidiary of Cigar City Tobacco Co., has also teamed up with American Eagle Coffee Roasters to create the new Excaliber cigar.
The cigar, an homage to the legendary coffee-laced cigars, features a black coffee bean wrapper that is “filled with flavor,” according to the company’s website.
The blend also has a rich and chocolatey coffee flavor.
The coffee bean cigar, currently available for $2.50 a pack, is the first Excalibe cigar to feature a full-bodied coffee flavor profile, according to Cigar Magazine.
The company says the flavor of the coffee bean is similar to that of a cappuccino.
The cigars are available through the cigar company’s online store and will be available at retailers across the country in November.
The brand has been working on a range of coffee-themed cigars over the last few years.
Last year, Excalibu introduced a new coffee-centric cigar, the ExcaliBlaster, which featured a coffee flavor similar to the flavor found in a caffuccino and was available in four flavors: coffee, espresso, cappucino and chocolate.
Excalibur Cigars also partnered with British company Churchill & Bowles to launch the Excellibur Coffee Blend, which was available exclusively through Churchill &s; Bowls stores in June.
Excellibur is the brand’s sixth coffee brand and the brand has sold over 2 million cigars, according the Cigar Blog.
Excelsior Cigars, a separate company that makes cigar-shaped coffee-related products, also released the Excelsio cigar this year.
It is also slated to be available exclusively at Churchill &ams; Bowels stores.
