A Cuban cigar retailer told CNN that it will now sell Cubans Havana Honey cigars at the price of $1.50 a cigar, but with a hefty discount.
The Cubans cigars are available at the Havana Cigar Company on the second floor of a building owned by the U.S. Embassy.
The Cuban Cigar company said it plans to continue selling Havana Honey at the same price, but will now charge $1 a cigar for the Cuban cigars, or $2.50 per cigar if they are also purchased online.
It’s unclear when Cuba will be able to sell the cigars.
Last year, the Cuban government banned the sale of Cuban cigars to U.N. missions, citing the health risks of smoking them.
