Ave Marias, makers of the premium Maduro and Toro line, have found a new market for their premium cigars: chocolate flavored cigars.
The cigar maker’s latest line, Chocolate Cigar, was launched at the Cigar Aficionado conference in Las Vegas last week.
The cigars are flavored with chocolate and caramel.
While the flavors are different than regular Maduro cigars, the brand’s branding is the same, and the company sells the cigars at stores like Cigar Place and Cigar City in Los Angeles.
The company plans to begin selling Chocolate Cigars in stores next month in Los Angelenos and Orange counties.
The new line of cigars, which will come in five sizes, will be available in six flavors, including Chocolate, Chocolate Chai, Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, and Peach Chocolate.
“These cigars are unique,” Ave said in a statement.
“The chocolate flavor is a natural flavor and the chocolate caramel is a hint of caramel.
Chocolate Cigaroos are available in a variety of colors, including gold, rose gold, and pink.”
Ave Maria has a history of making cigars.
In 2007, it launched its own line of cigar boxes, the Chocolate Box, with a line of 20 boxes in which to store cigars.
That line was discontinued in 2012.
The company is hoping to revive the Chocolate Cigara line, which sells cigars in its premium cigar store.
The chocolate cigar line was the last cigar company Ave was in, after Cigar World.
The brand is owned by Ave, a California-based company.
